What about RSE you are most passionate about: Training the workforce so that all young people can access comprehensive information about sex, sexuality and sexual health in easily; listening to youth voices so that we create solutions that are fit-for-purpose

​

Fun fact: In my non-work time I am a calisthenics adjudicator

What about RSE you are most passionate about: Ensuring young people have access to comprehensive information which improves wellbeing and can prevent sexual violence. If I was to choose one skill though.. Communication! A skill that spills over into all facets of living fulfilling human relationships

Fun fact: In my past life I was a photographer and being Indian, I can make a mean curry

Background: Education with a Graduate Diploma in sexology

What about  RSE you are most passionate about: Curriculum; As a teacher I want to ensure that the students I teach (and all kids in our school system) have access to comprehensive and relevant Respectful Relationships and Sexual education!

​

Fun fact: I ocean swim most mornings and I am obsessed with marine life. I am an active advocate for the removal of shark nets on our east coast beaches.

What about RSE you are most passionate about: It is hard to pick just one area—but I believe that centering young people’s perspectives and lived experiences in sexuality education will ensure that the curriculum, content, and resources resonate with their realities, challenges, and needs. By prioritising their voices, we can create more meaningful and effective sexuality education programs. 

​

Fun fact: I love to sew my own clothes and make quilts for my loved ones, and I also make polymer clay earrings.

​

Background: Parent of two young kids, with a background in call centre and McDonalds management. Now a passionate sexologist working in the field of disability and sexuality, including resource development, and qualitative and quantitative research.

What about RSE you are most passionate about: Education around Sexual Content Online, upskilling teachers, and looking at how RSE can be taught in CALD communities.

Fun fact: I’m an eclectic musician. I can play the drums, guitar, banjo, and I sing! If you put an instrument in front of me, I’ll try it!

Education about ethical sexual negotiation, consent, desire and pleasure and how these are informed by gender

What component or what about RSE you are most passionate about: Helping people build strong foundations of knowledge throughout the early stages of their sexual and relationship journeys to lead to more connected and joyful lives.

​

Fun fact/special talent: I love exciting, physical activities: skiing, mountain biking, freediving. Anything that helps me see beautiful places while feeling thrilled.

Background: Sexuality and relationships educator in my own business, Frank Sexology, and accredited practising dietitian working in aged care. Master of Sexology, Master of Dietetics, Bachelor of Science (Nutrition).

​

What component or what about RSE you are most passionate about: Delivery of RSE to people of all ages and life stages, rural access to sexual health services, reducing stigma through humour and community-led initiatives, and taking a pleasure-centred approach.

​

Fun fact/special talent: I love making all things fermented - sauerkraut, kimchi, kombucha, sourdough! And I have a sausage dog who I adore called Peanut.

Background: Consultant and PhD Candidate researching parent, teacher and youth perspectives towards sexually explicit media literacy education. I have a background in public health policy, advocacy and project management, mainly in adolescent and mental health.

​

What component or what about RSE you are most passionate about:

Figuring out how parents, families and schools can support young people to navigate sexually explicit media and online spaces safely, with curiosity and agency; and without shame and stigma. Ultimately, how education can support fulfilling and pleasurable relationships.

​

Fun fact/special talent: My family are Italian and every stereotype you’ve heard about sauce making day is 100% true!
